Oslo / Stockholm - September 10, 2007 – Ericsson, the Swedish multi-national telecom vendor, has signed a global license contract with IntelliSearch. The agreement lets Ericsson use IntelliSearch Enterprise as their central information access tool to their global document management solution based on EMC Documentum. The agreement comes after a period of thorough piloting and evaluation, and entails software licenses for 40.000 users worldwide.

IntelliSearch Enterprise for EMC Documentum
EMC Documentum is the market leader in document management with more than 2500 of the world’s largest corporations as customers. Intellisearch Enterprise 2.0 for EMC Documentum is an advanced information access tool built for large EMC Documentum installations. The IntelliSearch solution enables speed of information retrieval and user-friendly and relevant search results. Through multi-site synchronisation, the solution enables search in large document volumes even if they are located in separate and geographically dispersed content repositories – all without sacrifying speed and content freshness. This innovation enables employees to search in local and global content repositories with instant results. Moreover, users can search for documents residing in the EMC Documentum solution without having to log into the document management system.  IntelliSearch 2.0 is a platform independent enterprise search solution that offers both Documentum specific search, as well as enterprise-wide search to all the corporation’s content depositories.  Integration to other content depositories is provided through open and available interfaces based on XML and web-services. IntelliSearch Enterprise supports the EMC Documentum platform versions 5 and 6.
